Hell Yeah!
I'm from South Boston and I've been a Red Sox fan since as far back as I can remember. My 6 month old baby even has a pink Red Sox outfit my sister gave us. I live in GA with my wife and little girl so I pay for the baseball package on Direct TV every year so I don't miss a game. BoSox all the way baby!
I asked my wife to marry during the playoffs of 2004. It was October 13, 2004. They made history and broke the curse that year. Then in 2007, October was again made magic as my wife gave birth to our baby girl, Elora and the magical Red Sox won the World Series yet again. Just two more of the happiest memories of my life that the Red Sox have been a part of.
No matter what happened all through the years I never lost the faith. Now, when I'm married to my girl and I have a beautiful kid, well, they were there for each milestone. Though I live hundreds of miles away those Sox have never truly let me down.
My wife having been a long time baseball fan (she's from Washington DC) had never been to a real baseball game. She had only seen it on TV. I took her to her first game on July 3, 2004 when the Sox played the Braves in Atlanta. She not only saw one helluva game but she saw her first grand slam! What a night.
