MINISTRY DISMISSES TWENTY EMPLOYEES

The Ministry has come to a startling decision this week as they released twelve employees from the London offices. According to Ministry official Emily Clarke, the employees have all been issued with Notices of Employment Termination, to come into effect at the end of next month. All twenty staff members have been paid in lieu of notice and will be leaving their positions immediately.
The decision comes as a result of recent measures across the Ministry in effort to trim the year's budget. The Finance Department has stated that the redundancies will help save the Ministry 500,000 galleons for this year, and help meet the budgetary requirements and satisfy public outcry over Ministry expenditures.
The Ministry has dismissed speculation that the employees were made redundant because of their blood status and have officially stated that blood status had no effect upon their decision but that the roles have been eliminated within the Ministry making the position incapable of being transferred.
"Although we cannot comment on any one individual's name or blood status, we would like t make it clear that blood had no role in the decision and that not all employees are Muggleborns." Miss Clarke reported in her press release. "The Ministry has tried to offer other options to all employees that have been made redundant and has made every effort to attempt to relocate loyal employees to ensure stability and continued service.
