At Lily's suggestion, James frowned slightly and pondered on his answer. In truth, he thought her mother had a beautiful name, but he somehow didn't see his daughter having such a long and complicated name like that. He much preferred something simpler, as his own name or Lily's. But how to say that without sounding offensive? He was sure Lily would understand him no matter what he said but, it was her daughter too and she had just as much say in the matter as he did. It wasn't up to him alone to pick out or dismissive suggestions. And since they were looking to name their child after family members...
"I actually like your mother's first name a lot better for our daughter." He said suddenly, already growing fond of the idea. "Not that we need to dismiss Antoinette at this very moment. I just think a simpler name's better for now. And the idea to name her after your mother is great!"
