Amycus opened the door, half-expecting to see Alecto in bed. At first he glanced there, only to spot her in the chair nearby. Eyebrows raising when he saw the book, he stopped just inside the room.
"If you are busy, this can wait," he said easily, no hint of anger or annoyance in his voice. His feelings toward his sister were rather tumultuous at this point, but the majority was ruled by his concern for her wellbeing. While he wasn't pleased that she'd turned herself in, going directly against his request, she was still the most important person in his life.
