Andromeda Tonks: disappointing mothers since 1971 (dromatic) wrote in rebel_rebel,
Andromeda had chosen not to interrupt the reunion between her daughter and her daughter's boyfriend, even though she kind of wanted to. But Andromeda was not going to be like her mother. She was not going to be that person who drove her daughter to feel she had to hide part of who she was in her presence, or how she felt about someone else. She wasn't sure Ted would be so quick to look the other way, but they could talk about that later.
When the bell rang, Andromeda hoped that would signal the two of them that they weren't alone. Whether that meant anything to them remained to be seen, but she wasn't going to say a word. Instead she walked the opposite way to the door and opened it, finding Sirius on the other side.
"Sirius," his name left her lips in somewhat of a gasp. She hadn't expected he would actually come, even though she'd hoped beyond hope that he would. Without hesitation and walked to him and hugged him tightly, closing her eyes.
