Remus soon found himself chuckling, relishing in the way his body was relaxing and letting out the lines of tension that had accrued within over the past few days. No, past few weeks, really. The moment Sirius had tried to shut him out of his life he knew he had been pulled as tightly as a string, ready to snap at any moment. "Damn damsel in a dress in distress, eh? I'd like to hear you say that one three times fast." Remus wrinkled his nose ever so slightly. "You looked stunning," he agreed. "Which begs the question of how often you do wear dresses. Do I need to start raiding your closet?"
He could feel the way Sirius stiffened momentarily and Remus wondered if he was about to be tossed on his arse. But then, there was the old Sirius back, holding onto him just as tightly as Remus was. Closing his eyes tightly, Remus let his head fall onto Sirius's shoulder, fighting back whatever wave of emotion was about to crash over him. Worry for Andy and Dora, relief that Sirius still was here... any number of things. "I don't know either. But I know you're not going to do a damn thing without me with you."
