"Don't say that 'til you hear what I'm about to tell you," mumbled Dora. "But I mean it - you have to be cool about this, else...I don't know, but be the cool, nonjudgmental mum I know you can be, and it'll be okay, yeah?" She swallowed tightly, hoping to hell that if she was going to live to regret this, Bellatrix would have mercy on her and just kill her now. "You remember how I told you I was seeing that boy in my class, Aidan? Well - I was...er, sort of lying. It's not Aidan...it's Remus."
Dora bit her lip. Her father, Sirius, and Remus weren't exactly the most rational people out there, and she hoped Bellatrix wasn't smart enough to do that - to use her mum's journal against them. "Maybe she won't think of it."
Squeezing her eyes shut, Dora morphed into a replica of Bellatrix, then stood. When she opened her mouth to speak, she was silent, then sat down with a huff on the bed. "Can't do it just like this."
