WHO: Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks WHERE: Hospital Wing WHEN: Sunday evening WHAT: Dora talked Remus into coming down and saying hi RATING: Lowish, more than likely.
It'd been a long day, first waking up only to remember the horrors that she'd seen in the journals after coming back from the party. She'd been exhausted, unable to sleep very well, and when she did finally trudge down to breakfast, the things some of the boys had said and the way others had looked at her -
She hadn't been lying when she'd said she'd gotten sick. Once after reading it to begin with, and once after breakfast, which was when she'd high-tailed it down to the Hospital Wing. It was the only place in the castle she could think of to hide without being bothered, and it was evident that Pomfrey was aware of the gossip going on as well, as she'd let her stay without so much as checking her forehead for a temperature.
Now in the bed farthest from the door, the curtain blocking her from the entrance, Dora played her umpteenth game of solitaire, hoping Remus would actually come down. She did feel bad manipulating him into coming, but the truth of the matter was, he had to learn to trust her. She wasn't afraid of him, and she needed him to know that.
