Saxen & Kenrick Talk. Who: Saxen and Kenrick What: Saxen has to talk to Kenrick Where: Home in London When: Backdated to October 18th, afternoon. Rating: TBA Status: Incomplete/Closed
Saxen knew she had to talk to him right away. She'd been sick the past couple of days, nothing to big, but the couch of her team made her go to the healer that morning instead of the normal practice. Saxen wasn't excited about missing practice, she wanted to work on the new plays she'd just come up with. Instead she went to the healer as instructed. The Bulgarian seeker took a seat and went through all of the tests. She knew most women paid more attention to their cycles, but she'd been really carefully with everything, she wasn't ready for the news that hit her...
"Sax, you're pregnant." The healer had to say it three times before she actually got it. Saxen wasn't ready to have a child, she was focused on Quidditch, all she wanted to do was play Quidditch and live as she had been with her husband. She was told she could play for another two matches before she'd have to go on leave. Her spot was still secured, as it was clear she hadn't been planning it. Saxen wouldn't loose her job, but she'd be out for just under a year. She didn't really know how to handle it.
After a quick conversation with her manager, she was clearly safe for after she had the child, but it was all a blur to her. She started to make arrangements to help couch the reserve seeker. She was told to take the rest of the week to figure things out on her. She merely nodded and headed straight home. She walked around the house for a good hour, playing with the dogs, trying to figure out when exactly it happened... And that was when it hit her. It was the day she got the dogs. That was the day, it was one of the times they had probably had more sex than a normal day. She was nervous as she ran a hand through her hair. She had to find out when Kenrick was coming home. She was nervous, not to tell him, or how he would react. She was nervous because being a mother was something she didn't think she'd be good at.
Finally when she heard him come in she went straight to the front door. She didn't even think twice, she walked up to him, giving a soft hello kiss before stepping back and looking up at her husband, eyes slightly wider, and a more serious look on her face.
