Meg bit back the urge to scream as he twisted her hand to make her let go of the blade. It wasn't that it particularly hurt, but he'd startled her and she hadn't expected that.
Meg stumbled slightly as he pushed her, taking a second to get her bearings.
"You asked me first," Meg said, frowning at him now. "No one said you can keep that, you know." She ignored the association comment. "I did save you and your boys' asses from the damned Hellhounds. You're welcome, by the way."
She hesitated. "And you -- no doubt inadvertently -- saved my ass from Crowley." She grinned. "We're connected now, Clarence." She paused. "Especially after you shoved your tongue down my throat."
He could argue with her all he wanted about that motivation. She wasn't stupid. She knew when someone wanted her.
