"Well, you know what happens when you assume. . .Didn't want to make that mistake," Faith replied back easily, smirking on him. After her initial suspicion of him, she found herself falling easily into a banter pattern with him. Just as she guessed about him, Steve guessed that Faith wasn't around there either. The biggest hint was her lack of cash though she probably wouldn't have any cash in the first place. She didn't exactly come out of prison with much especially considering the fact that she broke out. All she had was some clothes and a few weapons, but now all of that was left in Willow's car. Now all she had were literally the clothes on her back and one stake.
Gesturing for them to take a seat as to not hold up anyone, Faith silently took to one of the tables and comfortably sat herself. She awaited for him to join her before continuing the conversation. "Am I that obvious?" she said dryly, resting an elbow on the surface of the table. "I hear it's the 'in' thing to do right now, be pulled out of your world and end up here. Where did you come from?"
From what she had learn, everyone was coming from different worlds and different points in time. Judging by his slang and general good guy demeanor, she was reminded of how men were supposed to be back in the day. She knew that a time jump was possible. She jumped forward eight years, but what about Steve?
