"Harley Quinn, a good name. I like how that rolls off the tongue." He tilted his head to get a better look at her. "You look like a Harley. I think it suits you." The kindly smile, despite being intimidating to most, "You may call me Paladine." He had many names, but that would be the most suitable for now. By giving his name he could perhaps begin to grow a following. It wouldn't be quite the same as a new flock, but it was a start and perhaps be enough to gain a proper footing in this realm on a divine level.
"I must admit, while digital appears to be more convenient, it lacks the tangible feeling that a properly made book has." He let out a simple sigh. "But then again, the libraries tend to discriminate against one my size. I'm almost afraid they would deny me a library card should I ask."
One of the children had stopped their playing and crept closer to Paladine's head and Harley with wide eyes, "Is he going to eat our dogs? Mikey says that you were gonna eat our pets!"
This caused the god's eyes to grow even bigger than they were before. He snorted indigently, "I expect not. No one of my good standing would see fit to harm an innocent animal.. but I must admit, I grow hungry." That wasn't truly the case but he could tell several of the bystanders were starting to get antsy and his comment just made them more so. "I could do with some of that.. ah.. yes. You call it pizza, do you not?" He eyed Harley, "How many do you think it would take to feed the lot of us?"
