Raven was completely lost in thought as she walked....somewhere, she wasn't sure where. It wasn't that she wasn't enjoying her time in Red Oak, at all. She had made new friends, everyone was here; really she'd feel a lot worse if she were the only one left behind, yet she still felt off. It was a weird kind of homesickness, since it had never been about the location of home for her. No, home was where Charles was - and more recently, the rest of their misfit crew - so why didn't she feel at home here, in Delaware?
A quick glance upwards provided a reasonable explanation. Home didn't contain potential threats in the form of aliens. While it was hard to believe in the existence of aliens, the thought that here they were, right above her? That was a little harder to comprehend. Yes, she had spent basically every moment since their arrival joking about it, but truth be told she was a little scared (not that she would ever admit that to anyone, mind you, and would probably punch anyone who tried to suggest as much).
Raven's walk along the sidewalk of, well she didn't know where she was precisely, but she was enjoying it all the same.
