It never once actually occurred to her that there might be a chance at racial stigma because she was Chinese-American. Which was probably a good thing, all things considered. One less thing on her mind was never a bad thing. "Well first of all, you have to press a bunch of buttons, but weirdly enough some alien tech is actually way easier." Jubilee demonstrated by cycling through the menu screens on the dvd, trying to explain what everything did in the process. But she wasn't exactly a teacher, so she was sure she was doing a lousy job. "Back in the day there were VCRs with their flashing clocks that anyone over thirty couldn't set. I think it was an unwritten law. These days it's dvd, blue-ray, or just digital and you stream it or download online and I really have no idea how you guys survived without the internet. Just sayin."
Tossing the remote to the nearest girl with a cheery smile, Jubilee made her way to the pizza, because yeah it was calling her now and who was she to refuse the call of the all powerful pizza? "Now just hit play on it and we'll be movie bound and all wanting to go back to school just to play hooky." After flipping open the lid on one of the pizza boxes and picked up a slice. Only after taking a bite did she grab a napkin, proving just what kind of manners she had. She could imagine Monet back at Massachusetts during the Generation X days giving her a withering glare as though she were a bug on a windshield and it made her take another bite, nearly choking on it, just to spite the long ago rivalry. "Ya know," she managed to squeak out after her near pizza disaster, "we can always do the make up with the movies. All I ask is that I don't get dolled up like a high priced escort. Last time that happened, a sound stage got blown up."
