Kitty frowned, understandably wary as Seth seemed to be acting almost...kindly towards her. If she hadn't just had the experience that she wasn't likely to be forgetting any time soon, she would could sort of mistake this sudden change for concern. She wasn't buying it. She just swiped the sleeve of her jumper quickly over her cheeks and shook her head firmly.
"I'm fine here," she insisted, working very hard to keep her voice as free from shakes or signs that she was actually still holding back tears, "Go do whatever you do when you're not picking apart people's brains like fluff, yeah?"
She even managed a short little laugh at the end of it, and if it caught slightly in her throat well she wasn't going to be the one to point it out. Looking down to avoid any further display of emotions to Seth - not that it mattered, she reminded herself, he's psychic - she waved a hand vaguely before pushing her face into her hands and mumbling out through her fingers.
"I think I'll stick around, it's nice out here. Really."
