Seth stayed where he was. A different kind of boy would have folded his arms over his chest, but Seth had demonstrated how different he was enough for several evenings.
"Don't worry. This stays between us." He didn't tilt his head to look at her, but did incline it slightly, eyebrows lifting just a little. He could leave her here now, but he decided instead to work on another image. It couldn't hurt if Jonah was going to throw himself in with these people.
"I'm not leaving you alone out here, by the way. Tell me when you want to go in." He smiled in an effort to look reassuring.
