Oh god, she kind of wanted to die. It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact that this was freaking Xavier. Telepaths kind of sucked in that regard. At least it wasn't Frost, she would have gotten a death glare or something for any negative mental image in her brain. "Uh, Shi'ar are these aliens that my X-Men have like run into. We had some of their tech for a long time too," and her Xavier had dated their empress but that was so not what she wanted to think about. That was the same thing as thinking of parents having love lives. Eww. She felt squicky now. "It's kinda a long story. Starts before my time even. But aliens and X-Men kinda end up crossing paths where I'm from."
She edged slowly closer to the food, eying it as she mentally ticked off several alien races she knew of. What was there anyway? There was Skrulls, Kree, Inhumans, oh hey the bacon looked good, Technarchy or something, hey Mojo counted, right? "Ok, I think I'm going to steal some of that bacon, and for the record my Xavier had to accept me. You can't say no to my awesome and my little orphan Annie eyes." She offered a shrug, trying to play everything cool again. "Anyway, I'm pretty much used to this kinda thing. Time travel hijinks is kind of normal for us too." At least if you were a Summers. She never wanted to explain that family tree. Just thinking about it made her head hurt. "Did I mention it's really weird where I'm from?"
