By the time this greeting was impressed upon him, Alex was halfway through a mouthful of eggs (sitting next to Charles, on the perhaps ludicrous theory that this would prevent him from suddenly blowing up the kitchen), and only managed to get about halfway out of his chair before he was engulfed in a hug he managed to return with minimal awkwardness. It was a brother's hug, shoulder thumping and all, although he did wonder quickly - stabbing that thought to death with as much efficacy as possible, due to, again, sitting next to Charles - why Raven wasn't wearing her blue skin anymore. He thought she looked nice that way, or at least unique and interesting.
Sean had tried to explain to him that they didn't all seem to come from exactly the same time even if they came from the same place, but the details made Alex's head hurt. Maybe it would be easier to understand stoned.
"Yeah. Mystique," he mimicked her tone with the same fondness, then scuffed the floor unconsciously in his sneakers as he turned to look at Lorna. "Alex is okay too. Havok's kind of a--code name. What do you do?"
