There was only a slight hint of color apparent in Kitty's cheek to indicate any reaction to Sean's playful little jab, otherwise she was very impressed with herself and how she managed to play it cool - for the moment at least, no promises could be made for any later interactions. She mumbled a quick, joking apology and just poked her tongue out briefly in a retort to the elbow jab, smirking just a tad.
"A man on the moon blew my mind, this..." she just shook her head, laughing softly in that sort of 'my mind still hasn't fully caught up with this' kind of way, "This is something else entirely. This is like, well. Alien in the sky." Kitty finished the sentence rather lamely, a half-shrug and half-smile to go with it all she offered in form of an apology. With a quick shake of her head she moved on. She could still blame being half asleep, rather than overwhelmed by all of this, she was sure of it.
"So this guy's the guy to hide behind?" Kitty asked, pointing towards the man Sean had earlier identified as Erik, "Good to know. He sounds like he knows what he's talking about, I'm more than willing to admit that. I just, I really hope it doesn't come down to any kind of...scare tactics getting involved."
She played it off half jokingly, but the natural apprehension for a 'World War III' of sorts was very apparent. Though lacking in personal experience, she had a wealth of recollected memories and experiences of two devastating wars, and it was more than enough to last her a lifetime. She didn't need to see one played out in front of her.
"Still, anything I can do to help, I guess?" she offered, looking to Sean. She couldn't imagine being seen as particularly useful, honestly, but she wanted to make sure the offer was out there at any rate. If everyone else was going to rally around and get involved, there was no way Kitty was going to sit around and wait for it to fall into her lap.
