"Socialization is overrated, anyway," Kitty remarked with a small chuckle -she was one to talk, having spoken to a total of three people while she had been here. Although she had agreed to meet one person that evening, as weird as he may be, so that was something at least. No one could say she wasn't making effort, at least. Besides she could socialize all she wanted later on. Just then the most important tasks at hand were eating breakfast, waking up somewhat and maintaining a functional conversation - and since the functional conversation was with Sean, Kitty was pretty sure she would put the effort into that part at least.
"It's definitely weird," she agreed without a seconds thought, "I mean, okay. Part of it is a little cool? Like, when I'm from-" It felt bizarre to say when, not where, but she went with it all the same, "the moon landings? They've just happened. I'm talking lie, I watched it about a month ago on tee vee."
Kitty waved a hand vaguely as she spoke, shrugging and finally propping her elbow on the table, and cupping her chin in her hand as she looked to Sean with only slightly sleepy eyes. Another stifled yawn, as discrete as she could manage, and a small smile later, she spoke again.
"It's scary, too." Kitty admitted, much softer this time, "You're right, I mean, we're left completely in the unknown. Who knows what's going on up there. I doubt we could do much if they decide they do want to attack."
