By this point in the morning, his own food cleared away along with the other dishes he, being a hapless youth, had transferred from meal space to sink, it looks a bit as if Sean is half-lying on the table. It's a trick of the light, in a way, just how the lankiness of his frame comes across as he's hunched to fold his arms in front of him and rest his head on top of them, watching around his coffee cup as Erik introduces the situation and Raven speaks up with her own concerns. If he were, perhaps, the sort of person less prone to letting his mouth get him into trouble (so long as it isn't life-threatening trouble -- he lets other people get him into that), he might also be the sort to just let this entire meeting go by, listening to everything but keeping to himself.
Needless to say, he is not that sort of person, and so he sits himself up just a little, planting one elbow to prop his head up in his hand. "Well, we're not really talking about jumping up in their faces or anything just yet, right? I mean, I really hope that's right." He takes a very awkwardly positioned and yet fully functional sip of coffee before mumbling, "Not like we could reach their faces right now."
He lets his head sink back down with a shrug. "Anyway, it's just like a country's got an army just in case? They're not attacking people all the time, just making sure they can if they have to or...whatever. ...right?" The yawn that follows ends muffled against an arm, along with a barely audible grumble of, "We don't even know what they are yet."
