Kitty wouldn't exactly deny that she was glad that Sean didn't frequently tour ladies around the manor they were headed to. Ye these were exceptional circumstances, and she hadn't known him for all that long, but it was fairly obvious that Kitty was developing a 'crush', as girls in her classes called it, on Sean.
"Special, huh?" her cheeks coloured slightly and she dropped her gaze to the floor as she smiled, and that pretty much confirmed things for her. Everything from the fluttering feeling in her stomach to the way her cheeks went pink at the idea of being special to Sean, all the signs pointed to that wonderful, awful, consuming early days of an all out teenage crush.
"Well, you're pretty damn special yourself," she said back, almost a mumble as she looked to him for a reaction -- any reaction at all really. The confidence had melted away as soon as he had called her special, into a stupid puddle of goo formerly known as Kitty.
