Sean decided to say no more about parents when he, too, realized that there weren't many places for him to go regarding arguments between his mother and father than wouldn't probably sound a bit terrible to anyone who hadn't just grown up that way. There hadn't ever been the matter of the Holocaust for them to contend with but there had been quite a few other things, such as a great bone of contention about the things a boy could, should, or would (whether they liked it or not) do in order to prove that they were a real man. Also, what they couldn't, shouldn't, or wouldn't. Ma hadn't been the only one to regularly lose those sorts of arguments.
Moving on from those less-pleasant thoughts, Sean nodded toward the Manor with a smile. "Yep. It's nice. Pretty big, too, you know, like you can see, I guess." Look, he didn't usually get a chance to really talk to a girl this long without an interruption or there being some super pressing matters like, say, running away from something to determine the direction of their interaction. "Anyway, I don't know if it's as big as that mansion Xavier had but it's still good for running into people when you want and... not so much hiding, maybe, but being less easy to find when you... don't. So... Yeah."
Ugh. He is totally not blushing at all, ok? Embarrassment totally clashes with his devil-may-care attitude. And his hair.
