Kitty watched Sean as he tried to explain the problems - or, more of the problems - of their current predicament, and she just shook her head a little. Logically it made sense that the Charles of this place would probably not be the Charles of her world, but there was very little logic or reason surrounding this situation. Considering she had closed her eyes in the hallway of her school and opened them up to a busy hall with more people than she had seen together in her life, she wasn't about to start questioning the logistics of this Charles not being her Charles.
"Well honestly, he sounds quite the same as he was in my reality, or whatever you call it. And the babbling is cute. " Kitty gave a small, almost sheepish shrug as she watched Sean. What exactly did she call these different places? She assumed there must be some accepted vernacular, but unfortunately no one had handed her a dictionary on arrival. It was just another thing that made this place seem so much more different to her home.
Still, it didn't seem to be all bad, perhaps in part due to who she had managed to happen upon on arrival. She smoothed a hand over her hair quickly, straightened her shirt and smiled at Sean. "Throws you off a pier to teach you how to swim, huh? Sounds like my dad. Tough love goes far."
Despite the resounding sound of every swear word known to her in her head for that comment -- what guy wants to hear about a girls dad, Kitty managed to maintain the smile and stepped a little closer to Sean's side, tapping his arm gently before clasping her hands in front of herself. "You know, an imagination can go far in chemistry. If you can find me some stuff I can show you some seriously amazing reactions."
