"Oh, God, he's one of those?" Lorna falsely huffed, accepting Raven's arm around her shoulder. She could see the silent communication going on, but since it wasn't directed at her she stayed out of it. She just noted it instead. Raven had clearly appointed herself as Lorna's protector in some capacity, and Lorna was glad for it. She could use that until she got her feet under her.
"We'll be sneaky. And if we get caught--Raven, you can blame me." Lorna put her arm around Raven's waist and squeezed gently in a gesture of solidarity. It didn't have any other tones to it: theirs was an era before things like that between two girls were even hinted at, although Lorna knew better.
