The Doctors smile faded. "We all have our parts to play" The Doctor said with a slight smile as he walked ahead. His was never a small part, saving people, planets, entire universes, fixing moments in time that should never have been. His part was a heavy burden, forever gaining more and more weight as he aged. This place, was his biggest challenge yet. Not just a universe collapsing but the entire multi-verse falling into nothing. Dying. And he didn't know how to save it.
The Doctor continued to lead him until at last they came to the library. He pushed the door open and there it was. A vast collection of books, rows and rows of high book cases, shelves, each stacked with papers and books bound in all manner of materials, some alien and some familiar. The library was rather large, in fact it might have been called grand, with it's wooden decorations and odd Gallifreyan symbols. It was like an old study meets the TARDIS because well, it was.
"Welcome to the library" he smiled, turning to look at Charles.
