"A library." It wouldn't be a surprise to anyone who knew him that the idea of an alien library was absolutely entrancing to Charles, above even a pool, and his hands already itch with wanting to examine it. That was probably obvious to the Doctor, as it wasn't if Charles was making an effort to conceal his curiosity.
"I suppose--it wouldn't be a terrible imposition to request a tour, would it? Before getting down to work." Charles turned bright eyes on the Doctor, hoping that the question wouldn't seem out of line. He had followed the other man--or not a man, he supposed, but for the sake of politeness he thought of him that way--up the stairs eagerly, examining the screen with great interest. It was nothing at all like televisions of his era, and he wondered what Raven would think if he told her he'd gotten on an alien spaceship, or Erik for that matter.
Knowing them, they'd probably call him a fool for venturing so willingly into unknown territory...perhaps he would only tell Sean. Sean would be delighted.
