"I will make sure everything stays in the place it belongs, heart and ribcage both included," Raven said with a nod, her tone humorous and joking but the obvious seriousness all too clear behind it. There were few things that she was fiercely protective of these days, but family? Family would always be one of them. That had grown to including a lot more people recently, yes, but Charles would always be one of the few people that she would lay her life down for. She couldn't help it, it was almost bred into her at this point. "Yes, he might have a few choice words to say to you about that development, Erik. Although I would just get a very disappointed-sounding 'I expected better'," she added with a small sound almost akin to a giggle.
She leant forward with an elbow on her knee and her chin resting on her hand, eyebrow raised as she listened to Erik's proposal. Although she couldn't help the almost imperceptible wince that came from Erik's none-to-discrete jibe at her current choice of form, she still nodded in approval. "Yes, I...think that would be a really good idea actually." Shaking her head to try and physically clear the metaphorical fuzz of her self-image feelings from her mind, she looked back to Erik and continued, "We had started this in a way in the mansion, after all. It's not like I have super technology and a whole crowd of people to back me up here. Are you offering to train me, Erik?" She couldn't help the grin that tugged at the corners of her mouth and she straightened herself up a bit, "Because I would love that. It's just what I need. Get this old body back into shape."
