Lois pulled out some files from the cabinet and headed back toward the doorway so she could talk to her partner in crime without yelling. "We'll only move up to cars if you can get me one of the heavy artillery vehicles in the command centers they've got around here." Maybe she was getting a little too into the idea of owning some major hardware these days, but considering what questions still went unanswered, a nice tank would be great to have on hand.
After finding nothing of interest in the folders she had, she went to the effort of returning them and grabbing some more. Again, she headed for the doorway as she looked through them. "And for the record, it's never too low when taking a solid shot at Smallville. It's how he knows we care." That was sort of true. "Wherever he is right now you just know he felt a disturbance in the Force because we're talking about him." Finding another dud stack of folders, Lois groaned and resumed her cycle of searching. "I'm starting to think that these people had no idea what hit them before the city ended up here."
