Lois hadn't even thought to look for a desk implying Chloe's employment, but at her point in time her cousin had already been fired from the Daily Planet and was working for Isis. Maybe it had been a little selfish to assume she herself was here and Chloe wasn't, but it hadn't been meant as a slight against Chloe. Lois still felt some guilt sink in for her thoughtlessness. "Maybe she works for a different paper." Or maybe she worked somewhere else entirely. The idea that her cousin didn't exist wasn't a possibility in her mind.
"Corrupt politicians, Lexcorp, Intergang... Oh, here's something." Lois pulled out a sheet of paper with several hand written notes on it. "She's got some notes about about astronomers claiming a meteor shower was going to hit." She looked over at her partner in crime. "You didn't see any damage to the city, did you? Because I didn't."
