While she wasn't really much of an Agatha Christie sort herself, she did have to grin at the cover because that was by far better than some of the rubbish books that came out these days. Amy was sure the last book series she got really passionate about was the Harry Potter series, but that was because it came out at about the right time for her and she was always into fantasy books and the sorts of things where you got to escape from real life for a bit. It'd been enough that she made Mels and Rory dress up with her on occasion and play like they were at Hogwarts, in between their Raggedy Doctor games.
"It'd make a pretty decent book for her, I reckon. Werewolves and balls of fire attackin' everyone. Kind of makes you wonder what would happen if it were her and Sherlock Holmes, investigating this place." Even she was having a hard time making out what this place was about and then she decided that if the Doctor and River weren't too overly worried about it, she wouldn't be. "Mind if I sit down?" Amy asked a second later, as she pointed to the chair across from the other woman, to make it easier to talk to her.
She could tell, from what she said and then her accent, that she wasn't from Red Oak. None of the locals talked about this place like that. "So, you're not from Red Oak then, yeah?"
