Lohengrin did not know what he should expect of Arthur Pendragon. Even his father who had befriended the king had only told him fragmented stories about the Battle of Camlann, leaving much to the imagination of a young boy who was then removed from the world to serve in the temple of the Grail.
He approached a bit slower than he should, perhaps knowing the king would arrive first and thus taking a moment to observe him before he finally drew close. He was young, much younger than Lohengrin, even with the slow passage of time at the temple not in consideration. He looked... a bit innocent. He wasn't sure yet if the surprise was pleasant or unsettling.
Not for the first time since he had agreed to this meeting had the grail knight questioned what he should reveal to the young king of his future. Better perhaps to ask some careful questions and then reveal what little he could to sate the man's curiosity.
He came to stand more than an arm's length in front of Arthur and dropped to one knee, head bowed, the same respect he had show Guinevere. "My lord," he said, keeping his head down. "I am Lohengrin of Corbenic, knight of the grail."
