While Castiel didn't quite understand the point of permanently scarring one's body, he supposed if he were to do such a thing, the vessel would heal regardless of the mark's decorative purpose. That and he wasn't certain why he would ever get one. The symbolism wasn't lost on him, but the image could have just as easily been translated to paper or stone.
"I will accompany you," he replied, nodding.
He had no idea why, other than to keep Cole company. It couldn't have been any stranger an experience than any pub or motel he'd accompanied Dean to and he was now used to people assuming he and whatever other man he was with to be intimately involved with him. Outside of being presumptuous, Castiel never stopped to think why that was.
