A multidimensional wavelength of celestial intent who was super tall, super big, and could render him blind. Okay then. Cole's questions about all that ended there.
At least now he knew. And he couldn't help but wonder what Trish or Zeke's thoughts on the matter would be. Cole could only imagine that Trish would be ecstatic and would've probably shown the utmost respect. Zeke probably would've given Cas a bit of sass and a sarcastic comment before batting him on the back and telling him he didn't envy his job. As for Cole himselfβ¦ he didn't know what to think. If God existed, actually existed, he couldn't help but wonder why conduits even existed to begin with. Look how much damage all of them had doneβnot only that, but how many more unknowing conduits had to die when the RFI was activated.
Talk about a lack of purpose. Talk about something that could make a guy pretty damned angry the more he thought about it.
So he didn't. Cole just stopped thinking about it and shook it off with a shrug and a laugh. "A vessel, huh? So you're in one right now? A once-normal guy who can support all that?" He motioned to where the shadow of Cas' wings had been. "Is he still in there or something?" That thought was kind of creepy, but he asked before even really thinking it through.
