There went that angel talk again! A brother name Lucifer. Could be a spiritual brother, could be a crazy-ass name to take for some kind of cult, Cole didn't know. He did know that Cas wasn't talking bullshit about it being a heavy thing to deal with though, and if this Lucifer was intent on wreaking havoc that could be compared to an End of Times? That was serious. And that Cole took seriously.
"I'm glad you were able to stop him, through luck or not. Stopping the Beast..." Remembering it had him growing quiet sombre rather quickly. Cole looked away and off to the distance then, off in the direction of the piers where he'd first fought the Beast and lost. "That came at a cost I don't really like thinking about." If it'd just been him that had to die, that would've been one thing. But activating the RFI meant killing every conduit and potential conduit on the planet. Thousands would die. Maybe more. He didn't know. As far as he knew, he didn't survive, John was killed, along with Kuo and every other conduit. But in turn... the plague was cured and Zeke survived.
Thousands of lives lost for millions of others to be saved. That was a hell of a thing to have on the mind.
The talk of trust brought Cole back to the here and now and when he turned to look at Cas again, a smile was once more firmly upon his face. "Of course, man. You're a good guy. I thought it'd be cool to share it with you. If you were ever able to find a replica of that place you're talking about, I'd love to see that too. You never know, it might be around." If Cole as able to find this rooftop, who knows what else could be out there that mirrored their own worlds.
Laughing at the talk of couches, Cole nodded and walked to where their couch was placed, standing there with a more subdued smile as he thought about it. "Maybe I can get an ugly-ass couch to put on the roof of my apartment complex back in Red Oak to commemorate." A pause. "Or better yet..." He looked at his left arm, eyeing the tattoo of Trish's initials that adorned his bicep. "Maybe another tattoo. One for Zeke this time."
