Cole didn't even care if security came by. It'd be easy to dismiss them with the simple, bullshit excuse of being a 'transplant' or whatever. Not to mention the fact that he'd buddied up with the police here and gotten a free pass to lurk the rooftops without getting shot at or threatened. There were a few guidelines he had to follow, sure. But it wasn't anything he couldn't handle. What help he could offer them in return seemed to be worth the bizarreness of a guy preferring to travel via climbing rather than taking the streets.
When Meg teleported behind him, a grin came to Cole's face. Now that he was familiar with. Was she another conduit too? It hadn't even clicked for him yet that this might be the same Meg that Cas had mentioned something about a while back and that they might share similar powers. Course, Cole was still convinced that Cas was just another conduit who had a bit of a God-oriented dementia. Sasha had had enough dementias to sink a ship, after all...
"Nice," Cole said approvingly. "See, there's an ability I've always wanted. Flying too. Everyone gets to fly but me. Working on that though." The more he delved into Kuo's ability, he hoped that one day he might be able to fly like she could. Maybe. Hopefully. If Kessler's powers were any indication, he'd at least be able to move as fast as lightning one day.
"Sounds good. Let's do this," he said smoothly, heading right to the store, making sure to keep a safe distance from any and all technology, just to be safe. It was one of those moments where he'd much rather look overly cautious and weird than risk blowing something up when he had no means of paying to replace all the various, expensive items here. It wasn't like he was getting a paycheck from the cops or anything. But... yeah. He was working on that.
