Cole was preparing himself for a long-ass journey. There were a few basic essentials he'd need before going out on a limb, going off the grid, and suffering a slow, arduous walk to New York from Delaware. One of these things that he would need was a set of headphones that would actually work for him. His phone could hold music and his phone was tweaked so it wouldn't blow up on him the instant he touched it... hopefully there was a set of headphones in existence that could manage the same.
Hopping onto the roof of the mall, Cole traversed the whole building's edge in a horribly short amount of time. Wow. Small towns, he thought as he shook his head, eventually peering over the ledge to find a spot that had a mass amount of windows. Figuring it was the food court and eyeing an entrance to the mall, he shrugged and leapt down, landing easily and giving some poor woman who was exiting the food court a minor heart attack. Obviously seeing a man land from a height that would've broken any other man's legs wasn't something she expected to see that day.
Calming and reassuring her, Cole couldn't help but laugh when she finally meandered off and he was allowed to step in, shaking his head as he brushed it off. He really needed to remember not to do that so much around here. Even with all the transplants, it seemed like the locals still got a bit too startled. But, at the very least, he was here now!
Stepping past a woman who was minding her own business with a smoothie, Cole stopped to ask her, "You wouldn't happen to know where I could find some headphones in this place, would you? The less I wander aimlessly, the better." He had too long of a journey ahead of him for that noise.
