"Fourteen years. Twelve years the first time 'round, then he popped in for a quick adventure and then took two more years after to show back up. Said something about taking the TARDIS off to the moon to break her in." As Amy thought of her time being left behind, a look of annoyance crossed her features because it wasn't pleasant. It led to her seeing four psychiatrists and being thought of as mad Amelia Pond until she stopped talking about the Doctor and pretended she no longer thought he was real.
"We met at the Byzantium, went up against some Weeping Angels." It was a quick explanation, not very detailed, but the encounter with the Weeping Angels was not one that went well. An Angel living in her eye, even if it was a short period of time, wasn't something that Amy wanted to think too much about. "Part human, part Time Lord, then?" It wasn't even really a question, just a guess or her searching for a bit of confirmation because now she was wondering a bit on how that happened. Not that she really asked the Doctor, her Doctor, about that sort of thing.
Briefly, Amy frowned a bit because it seemed she didn't know the Doctor as well as she thought, with the things he didn't tell her about. When they came across a darker version of himself, the Dream Lord, she tried to tell it that the Doctor did tell her everything, even if it took him a while, sometimes. "No, but, I had to trick him into unlocking visual records of others who travelled with him, cos he doesn't really talk about it."
