"Pretty sure I'd remember a thing like that, yeah. The only Doctor I properly know would be the one I travel with," she reiterated, even if it were obvious that her raggedy doctor was the only Doctor she'd ever met. His previous regeneration, she'd meet him eventually and now she was meeting a man calling himself the Doctor, but the first would be the one she gave the most importance to. He was her Doctor.
Amy stood her ground as this man seemed to be looking her over, thankful he'd stopped circling her, at least. Even if she gave him a bit of a warning look when he finally looked back up at her face. It wasn't like she wasn't used to that sort of staring, it was something she knew well but it was harder to ignore when the person doing the staring was standing right there.
"Who, the bloke over the communications? I dunno. He talked a lot, not that's anything new. The Doc-- my Doctor, he does a lot of that, too." An eye roll followed as she mentioned this, but it was an affectionate one because while half the things the Doctor said might go in one ear and out the other, if he didn't do that talk fast about nothing and everything at once thing he did, she'd have to wonder if something happened to him. "I'm Amy. Amy Pond." A beat passed before she finally asked, "And what d'you mean, different universes or divergent timelines or whatever?"
