There were plenty of ways to please him, that usually silent part of his mind said, but Ash, as always, slammed that door shut. The moment that thing ever stayed open was the day the universe was doomed to be liberated by Bee's World and there'd be no stopping it. That was his excuse at any rate. He told himself on no unconditional terms that he must always be focused and diligent at his job. He couldn't very well do that if he was pounding the face in on every guy that was ogling Bree in the hopes to take advantage of her good, if random, nature. Nope, he had to try and make her see reason, even if he failed most of the time.
Even Ash had to admit that she looked amazing in the dress. "That's amazing," he said. That wasn't over the top, was it? He hoped not. It sounded more like he was talking about the dress than her in the dress, but at the moment questioning his tastes would be preferable than anything else. "But hey, the Newlywed Game's loss is my- our gain." No, he couldn't actually argue her words, despite the life of crazy, he was glad she'd missed her wedding and glad she'd stolen his watch. Without Bree he wouldn't have a real purpose and for that he had no real way of ever thanking her. "It might be too formal for for anything here though.. and the skirt might get in the way of any running we do."
Because there would be running. There was always running.
