The whirlwind had taken him outside so quickly that he'd barely managed to find a place to hide his new weapon under his jacket. The last thing he needed was to get arrested for carrying a weapon. But then maybe he could play it off and say it was a prop. It was encoded to his DNA, so if it didn't work for anyone else then that idea might work. He made sure to try and remember that for later. With his luck, he'd need that mental note.
But.. he had more questions! He needed to- he needed to ignore the expression on Bree's face because it was the same one she used to get him to cave on pretty much everything. He could say no, he should say no, but the Inspector hadn't been fazed or angry by anything Bree did. Besides, if he said no, Bree would likely pout and that was even worse than the cute face. Still, he couldn't let her off completely. "Yes, but only just."
His hand slid through his hair as he sighed in defeat. "And we had a deal. Where to?" He silently pleaded that she'd forgotten the storage buildings. If she hadn't he'd have to work hard to distract her from the treasures they might hold.
