"You're full of unforeseen knowledge, Jubilee," a hint of amusement in the sentence. Not that he found her unintelligent-- just seemingly simple. Not the complex being he himself was victim of becoming. "I make my own way," he reasoned finally, "But it's not because I have complete opposition to an ally." He was just used to making it on his own. He didn't dislike her being with him, but rather the idea of being watched by strangers in this building. It made him uneasy. Eventually they laid eyes on this Manor, him following the directions she was given. It was probably a longer walk than his companion would have liked, but it did little to bother the ninja in his perfect physical condition. Every day consisted of rigorous routines, not stopped just because he left his clan behind. It didn't look like a place of great knowledge, but most things were often not what they seemed. Alert to every sound, he tried measure the intent of any person passing them with a judging eye. Inside they would finally get their answers, as unbelievable as the information seemed. Transplants from different worlds? It sounded... illogical, but there was little other reasoning he could offer to their existence here. He thought their cultural differences were because they were from different countries, but was it possible it could be more than that? Different worlds? With this food for thought, he'd make his promised release into the wild. He still wasn't quite ready for domesticated life.
