"Over here where the creature disappeared," Raizo answered, making a gesture to the ground below him. After he allowed her to take the item, he opened up his hand, revealing a handful of currency, "This too." The coins rested in his open palm, not looking particularly special, especially compared to the item emanating the chi, but strange to him none the less. What struck him about the coins was how it looked like ancient Korean coins that were no longer a part of normal circulation. Why would a beast drop money that used by his ancestors? It was strange. It wasn't the type of money being used by the people of this time. Running his index finger over the metal, he noticed it didn't have the symbols he was used to seeing on it, making it even more particular. "It releases a strange chi," he agrees with her, "I don't know if it is pure or filled with malice as it has a power I don't understand." Taking the strange piece back from her, he didn't make any movement to wear it (pink and purple didn't go well with the dark scheme he kept to), but he didn't want to discard it either. Until he understood for sure, it was best to hold on to it. If somehow one of them reacted negatively to its presence, he would immediately trash it. Looking at her strangely when she seemed devoid of the facts he had come to he answered her, "Do you find yourself facing ten feet tall beasts everyday that leave behind items rich in chi? If not, it stands to reason we aren't where we believe we are." If this strange girl found herself in these situations daily, then maybe he had come to her world rather than both of them moved to another world together.
