Being knocked to the ground like a fly was not a new concept for Jubilee, but it was one she didn't exactly enjoy either. In fact, it was down right aggravating. She'd spent all these years with the X-Men and Generation X, yet she was always the one getting benched and now she was getting tossed aside, again! She yelped when she hit the ground, as she hadn't expected it one bit, and she winced at the impact. If it had been concrete, she'd be scuffed up, as it was, she now had grass stains to worry about along with purple people eaters. Even so, she kept her eyes on Raizo and his fight, and her eyes widened. It wasn't the weirdest thing she'd ever seen, when a girl has been to alien planets and fought half the things she had in life it was hard to be surprised, but it was pretty impressive. Especially when the monster dissipated. Her blue eyes narrowed at him and his offered hand, but she got up on her own, her pride injured. "I told you that I could handle myself." At least she didn't swat him away, that was mature of her. She was totally growing as a person. Admittedly, she could have been hurt by not expecting how well he used his blade thing, but it was still a good sting to her ego.
But she drew up a smile, though not for him. It was turned on for the crying kids, who Jubilee chose to put her attention on while she nursed her mental wounds. "Hey, you're good, see?" Kneeling in front of them, she tried to get them to focus on her and not what they'd just seen. "My friend there took care of that thing, no problem. And if you can stop with the tears, I'll show you something really cool." They continued to whimper, but their snuffling began to slow. Apparently, no one had ever told these kids not to talk to strangers that offer to show them things. She felt a little bad for that, but not for what she was about to do. Jubilee then proceeded to do what she did best. She created a light show for them and began juggling some of her multi colored plasmoids. It was reminiscent of her days living in the mall, trying to earn a few bucks, when things were more simple even if they were lonely. When her little audience was thoroughly entranced, Jubilee finished her noisy fireworks show with a flourish, sending the plasmoids high into the air and triggering their explosions with wild abandon. The kids applauded, in the way only kids could and Jubilee bowed like any good performer, "I think it's time you get home now, don't you?" There was much whining, but she was the master of the pout and bratty behavior so her decision was not swayed, and the kids were off running home in proper fashion. She threw a smug look at Raizo once they were gone. "You may be able to slice and dice, but I'm the one leaving them wanting more."
