"It has been some time since I felt alive," Raizo admitted, not finding much use in life at times. He didn't go seeking death, but if it came for him-- it came for him. He didn't fear it. He didn't long for it. If anything, he was completely numb to it. Watching her step backward, initially he just watched her, not sure if he wanted a travel companion. He was getting used to being alone, something he proved by the way he acted toward her. Finally he decided he had nothing else to lose. They were both lost in an unknown world with a lot of questions. For now, he would follow her, hoping they could find some sort of answer. "I try to keep my mind clear. It doesn't leave much room for dreams," he tells her, moving his hands to cloak his weapons again. He didn't need a weapon to defend himself, so if this Jubilee decided they weren't allies, he would still be able to react appropriately to keep himself alive. His weapons were always a flick of the wrist away from him.
