Buffy whirled around, her senses on alert (she couldn't believe she'd let her guard down even for a second), just in time to be knocked off her feet by a speedy figure. She swore and managed to kick her attacker away from her, using a good bit of slayer strength for added oomph. Free of the heavy burden, the blonde rolled backwards and onto her feet again, but didn't unsheathe her hidden sword yet. One good look at the person, Buffy could tell it wasn't human and in fact reminded her of any generic breed of demon from the slayer handbook. Not quite willing to risk killing someone without a good reason, she decided she was going to hold off on the weapon until she had no choice. "I think you'd better stay back," Buffy ordered the other blonde. She didn't think this was a trap, and so her first priority was to make sure the innocent bystander was safe as houses. "I'll take care of this." With that, Buffy took the offensive and launched herself at the maybe demon, landing a solid kick to the head before beginning to trade punches.
