Cloud didn't know what was more surprising, the way she bluntly told him her mother was dead or the way she named Aurora as a separate person. He had struggled with two personalities of himself once too. It made him regretful at his unkindness.
It was hard to keep that feeling with her next demand. Eye moving to the hand on her hip, Cloud assumed she wasn't one for patience. Walking inside of the gate, his blue eyes found her again as he asked, "You're not curious about what is happening to you?"
This was the most calm he had ever seen anyone be in appearing here. She asked few questions, a thing he liked about her already, but Cloud still couldn't help wondering why that was.
