Players: Locke and open to everyone and anyone and all the people EVER! (I mean, uh, this is an open thread.)
What: Locke needs to think over things. Obviously, this means drinking and watching people make fools of themselves.
Where: Allusions!
When: Backdated to Saturday, Nov. 26th. Evening times.
Note: You all are probably sick of seeing him in threads now. Deal with it~.
When Buffy had mentioned Allusions to him, Locke hadn’t expected it to be a place like this. It was colorful, loud and there were people singing into things called microphones -- and they didn’t even look that intoxicated! In the past month he had been in Red Oak, Locke hadn’t yet ventured into the pub scene of the small town. He hadn’t had much reason to -- on top of not knowing where one was, since the exteriors of the pubs back home were nothing like the ones here. And the interiors? Locke couldn’t even find a place to begin with the differences. It was a new experience, this Allusions-place, and he was happy to have been on good enough terms with someone to land him a free drink.
He had only been inside for fifteen minutes and already he was well on his way with his second beer. The alcohol was different here than it was back at home. There were so many different choices, so many fanciful names for things he didn’t have a clue on the insides of. Locke wasn’t a fancy guy, even if he hunted for the occasional jewel-like treasure. He went for something cheap, something easy, and a beer from a local brewery seemed like the best choice.
Watching as a couple of giggling girls made their way toward the platform where the singing took place, Locke couldn’t help but wonder aloud, “What are they singing for?” before taking a sip of his beer. From his stool at the bar, Locke didn’t even notice if anyone was around him to overhear.
