If she were a cat, she'd likely be purring by now. But she was smiling brightly at him, at least one of her desires taken off the list for the time being. "Perfect." She wrapped one of her arms around him a little tighter. She loved how safe he felt to her, as though nothing could go wrong, but if it did, they'd have each other's backs. This was exactly how she wanted to feel and wasn't disappointed in finding it with him.
"I almost feel sorry for those girls that missed their shot with you in Brooklyn." Lois didn't really, because their failure in judgment was her gain. "Almost, being the operative word." No, they could go stand alone by a punch bowl and chatter about things they missed out on or didn't get to have in her opinion. Lois didn't think she was an amazing teacher, but she did think she was doing a good job. Even if she was starting to forget she was trying teach, and leaned her head onto his shoulder, allowing herself to relax against him. She enjoyed the feeling of being in his arms and just moving to music of their own making.
"Trust me, Rogers, they are not getting past me. I can fight just as dirty as the next girl." Not that she was in the mood for a fight now, seeing as she was enjoying the moment, but she would be ready to kick ass and take names if she had to.
