While Oliver normally wouldn't mind sitting back and watching two beautiful blonds play together, that wasn't his goal this time. Something big and ugly wanted dinner and they were a walking buffet. He couldn't let two beautiful women be eaten out of existence, now could he?
The entire time as the girls fought, he sat back and followed the creature with a steady hand. He missed his mark once. That wasn't going to happen a second time. While his arrow proved mildly useful, it wasn't in the way he intended. Apparently the beast was thick-skinned. Like some people he knew.
Keeping his aim on the eye, he waited for a more precise moment this time before releasing a new arrow from his crossbow. Once he knew there was enough pause, he used his expert marksmanship to take out its second eye.
"I bet he didn't see that coming." The puns, they were contagious.
